Basketball Recap: Union Grove Christian Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Union Grove Christian walked away with it. They came out on top against the Greenville Christian Academy Knights by a score of 49-38 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Sara Long was the offensive standout of the matchup as she went 6-for-8 on her way to 12 points and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Stiltner, who had six points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Union Grove Christian's win bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Greenville Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Union Grove Christian has already played their next game, a 49-23 defeat against Wilmington Christian Academy on the 28th. Greenville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
