Volleyball Recap: San Juan Takes a Loss

San Juan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mesa Verde Mavericks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19.

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mesa Verde, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

San Juan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Golden Sierra on the 19th. As for Mesa Verde, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Woodland Christian on the 19th.
