Football Game Preview: Marion County Red Raiders vs. Addison Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Marion County Red Raiders will take on the Addison Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion County will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Marion County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Appalachian 28-13.

Marion County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kiptyn Adkins, who threw for 338 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 90 yards and one score. Those 338 passing yards gave Adkins a new career-high. Ty Hollis was in the mix too, providing Marion County with two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Marion County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Appalachian only rushed for 15.

Marion County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hollis and Roman Bellamy.

Meanwhile, Addison was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Berry 39-6. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Marion County better keep an eye on Elijah Roberts. He was instrumental in Addison's win, rushing for 192 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.0 yards per carry, and also throwing for 141 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes. Another player making a difference was Trennon Burns, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one score.

Marion County's record now sits at 9-3. As for Addison, their record is now 11-1.
