Volleyball Recap: Tuslaw Comes Up Short

Tuslaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Garaway Pirates, falling 3-0. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Pirates when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.

Kamdyn Dibell paced Tuslaw's offense, picking up five kills. Dibell got some help from Lillian Orr and her eight assists.

Tuslaw's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Garaway, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Tuslaw and Garaway will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Mustangs will take on rival Manchester at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Garaway is set to challenge their familiar foe Tuscarawas Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
