Softball Recap: Muskego Warriors vs. Hamilton Chargers

Muskego proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Hamilton Chargers. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 6-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Samantha Brunner was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Reese Heinrich, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Muskego lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.
