Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes Down New Life Christian Academy in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Trinity Christian walked away with it. They came out on top against New Life Christian Academy by a score of 49-37 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors who have now won three matches in a row.

Trinity Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyleigh Purtle, who posted 15 points. The contest was Purtle's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Dougan, who scored 12 points.

Trinity Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for New Life Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

As of now, neither Trinity Christian nor New Life Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
