Baseball Recap: Bowie Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

While Bowie put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Laurel. Bowie blew past Laurel 19-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Bowie let Brandon Epps and Charles Brame run wild. Epps scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Brame scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Those four runs gave Epps a new career-high. Jayden Reeves was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Bowie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Laurel only posted an OBP of .286.

Bowie pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Bowie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 16-2 victory against Flowers on the 22nd. As for Laurel, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-11 defeat against Parkdale on the 22nd.
