Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Central Comes Up Short

Forsyth Central lost against Pace Academy back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hollie Schimweg paced Forsyth Central's offense, picking up four kills. Schimweg got some help from Izzy Sharp and her nine assists.

Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Pace Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Forsyth Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Statesboro on the 27th. As for Pace Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Newnan on the 27th.
