Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addilynn Hughes and Callie Lacheney Lead Sale Creek to Victory

Sale Creek won the last time they faced Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Sale Creek was led to victory by Callie Lacheney and Addilynn Hughes. Lacheney had 14 digs and nine assists, while Hughes had seven digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Hughes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leighton McKee, who had eight kills.

Sale Creek's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

Sale Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Christian Heritage on the 30th. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Walker Valley on the 30th.
