Volleyball Game Preview: Chugiak Mustangs vs. South Anchorage Wolverines + How To Watch

Chugiak is 0-9-1 against South Anchorage since October of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Wolverines at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Chugiak comes in on four and South Anchorage on 17.

Chugiak barely beat Bartlett the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs blew past the Golden Bears 3-0 on Friday.

Chugiak never let Bartlett on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-23.

Meanwhile, South Anchorage faced Wasilla in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory.

While South Anchorage won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 26-24.

Chugiak's win bumped their record up to 22-10. As for South Anchorage, their victory bumped their record up to 27-3.
