Alvin had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Pasadena Memorial on Friday. The Yellowjackets' pitchers stepped up to hand the Mavericks a 10-0 shutout. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Alvin now has a winning record of 14-13-1. As for Pasadena Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Alvin nor Pasadena Memorial have any future games scheduled.
