Softball Recap: Greenwood Rangers vs. Alpine Bucks
Greenwood's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Alpine Bucks as the Greenwood Rangers made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Rangers have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Berkley Jenkins looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Addison Arredondo was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. Brylee Savage was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
