Volleyball Recap: Zoey Horlacher and Halie Mull Secure Win for Fredericktown

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clear Fork, Fredericktown was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Danville Blue Devils 3-0. The Freddies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

Fredericktown was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-18.

Leading Fredericktown to victory were Halie Mull and Zoey Horlacher. Mull had four aces and three digs, while Horlacher had eight digs.

They weren't the only good server: Fredericktown was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Danville only served three aces.

Fredericktown's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Fredericktown will square off against North Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Danville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Northmor on the 21st.
