Volleyball Recap: Centennial Beats Lassiter for Their Third Straight Victory

While Centennial didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lassiter Trojans on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Centennial easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Lassiter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Centennial and Lassiter will both be playing Kennesaw Mountain the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
