Volleyball Recap: Vista Ridge Comes Up Short on the Road Against Austin

Vista Ridge had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Maroons on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rangers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Laven Blumoff, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Vista Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Cedar Park on the 12th. As for Austin, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lehman at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
