Jones can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They and the Payton College Prep Grizzlies finished up their contest with a 7-7 tie.

Anna Black spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Jones' tie gives them a new season record of 16-4-1. Meanwhile, Payton College Prep's record is now 12-13-1.

Looking ahead, Jones will be playing at home against Little Village at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Payton College Prep, they will head out to challenge Mother McAuley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
