It was a good run, but South Bend Riley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by the Hammond Morton Governors 72-29.

Despite the loss, South Bend Riley still got an impressive performance from Lafaye Gibson, who posted five points.

Hammond Morton found their leader in sophomore Kylah KP Patterson, who dropped a double-double on 46 points and ten boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Patterson has scored all season. De?Zyrra Willingham was another key player, going 5 of 6 on her way to 11 points and five rebounds.

South Bend Riley's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Hammond Morton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

South Bend Riley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-48 victory against Hammond Bishop Noll on the 28th. As for Hammond Morton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-38 win against Gary West Side on the 27th.
