Boyd Anderson put their dominant defense on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 36-0 win over the Hallandale Chargers. The Cobras' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Boyd Anderson's victory came down to the chemistry between Ariana Stoveall and her top target Jakira Dennis. Stoveall threw for 110 yards and five touchdowns while Dennis picked up 52 receiving yards and three touchdowns. What's more, Stoveall racked up 46 rushing yards, the most she's had since back in February.

Boyd Anderson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kenadie Brown and Jakayla Robinson. Robinson has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times she's played.

Boyd Anderson pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 0.0 points on average over those games. As for Hallandale, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyd Anderson will square off against Fort Lauderdale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hallandale, they will face off against Coral Glades at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Coral Glades' defense has only allowed 5.7 points per game this season, so Hallandale's offense will have their work cut out for them.
