Santa Fe won the last time they faced Texas City and things went their way on Friday too. Santa Fe sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Texas City. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly two runs.

Santa Fe's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Johnathan Fraire, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Santa Fe has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. Texas City is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
