St. Johns Country Day got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camden Cooper out in front who posted 18 points along with six assists and six boards. Those six assists gave Cooper a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Reach, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

St. Johns Country Day smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but St. Joseph Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Interlachen out 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Flashes have posted since December 3, 2024.

St. Joseph Academy pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for St. Johns Country Day, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.

St. Johns Country Day won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, slipping by St. Joseph Academy 49-48.
