Baseball Recap: Greenhills Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Greenhills won the last time they faced Cabrini and things went their way on Saturday too. The Gryphons came out on top against the Monarchs by a score of 7-4.

The team relied heavily on Talen Pilz, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Greenhills pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cabrini, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Greenhills beat Cabrini by a score of 13-1 later that day.
