William Floyd had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Walt Whitman Wildcats by a score of 11-6. This was a revenge game for the Colonials: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in April, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

William Floyd pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Walt Whitman, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9.

As of now, neither William Floyd nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
