Basketball Recap: Oxon Hill Takes Down St. Charles in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Oxon Hill had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Charles, sneaking past 57-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Clippers have posted since January 27th.

Oxon Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nigel Harris, who posted 16 points. The match was Harris' third in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Donnell Dorsey, who had 12 points.

Oxon Hill pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. As for St. Charles, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7.
