Baseball Recap: Seabreeze Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Seabreeze Sandcrabs came up short against the Maclay Marauders and fell 8-3. The Sandcrabs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jake Deising made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Seabreeze's record now sits at 9-7. As for Maclay, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seabreeze will face off against Lake Brantley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake Brantley will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Seabreeze surely won't give up without a fight. As for Maclay, they will challenge Leon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Leon's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Maclay's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
