Softball Recap: Faribault Falls to Kasson-Mantorville in First Game of Season

Faribault had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 12-2 to the Kasson-Mantorville Komets on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Komets: they've now lost four in a row.

Kasson-Mantorville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Faribault will head out to challenge Mayo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Goodhue at 4:00 p.m. on the 10th.
