Baseball Recap: Tri-Central Falls to Northwestern in First Game of Season

Tri-Central had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwestern Tigers. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Tri-Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Sargent, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

The win (which was Northwestern's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Tri-Central will face off against Daleville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northwestern, they will square off against Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
