Basketball Recap: Pine River-Backus' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Pine River-Backus can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder by a score of 76-67. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

The victory got Pine River-Backus back to even at 4-4. As for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Pine River-Backus will challenge Kelliher/Northome at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 75-50 defeat against Benson on the 6th.
