Basketball Recap: Pitman's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Pitman was feeling good fresh off their 78-52 takedown of Schalick last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pitman Panthers took a 73-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherry Hill East Cougars on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Cougars are ranked 35th).

Pitman's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Cherry Hill East, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pitman will venture away from home to take on Clayton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherry Hill East, they are taking a road trip to face off against Rancocas Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
