The Strasburg-Franklin Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Buckeye Trail Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Strasburg-Franklin 4.1, Buckeye Trail 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On the hitting side, Strasburg-Franklin got a massive performance out of Brodie Hurst, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave Hurst a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Baughmam, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Buckeye Trail won against Conotton Valley on Wednesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Warriors beat Sandy Valley by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three games in a row.

Strasburg-Franklin now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Buckeye Trail, their record is now 6-3.

Strasburg-Franklin came out on top in a nail-biter against Buckeye Trail in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
