Basketball Recap: Lewiston Tigers vs. Johnson-Brock Eagles
Lewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-9 loss at the hands of the Johnson-Brock Eagles. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Despite the defeat, Lewiston saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Justice Currie posted eight points.
It was another big night for Taryn Ottemann, who went 7 of 8 on her way to 15 points and six boards for Johnson-Brock. Daley Pelican was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 10 points and five steals.
Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Johnson-Brock, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.
