Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garden City). They came out on top against the Altus Bulldogs by a score of 62-55 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Buffaloes who have now won three games in a row.

Despite the loss, Altus saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hayden Castillo posted 22 points.

Garden City's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Altus, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Garden City has already played their next match, a 50-37 victory against Scott on the 14th. As for Altus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-14 win against Coronado on the 14th.
