Football Game Recap: Scappoose vs. Pendleton

If Scappoose was feeling good off their 49-6 takedown of Cleveland last week, that ride came to an abrupt end. This past Friday, Scappoose lost to Pendleton by a decisive 41-21 margin. If the Indians were hoping to take revenge for the 32-14 loss against Pendleton the last time the teams met in September, then they were left disappointed.

Scappoose's overall record now falls to 6-3. The victory bumped Pendleton's record up to 6-2.

Scappoose's road trip will continue as they head to Parkrose's field on Friday. Parkrose is heading into an offensive buzzsaw as that team is averaging 36 per game. As for Pendleton, they will face off against Scappoose at 7 p.m. ET next week. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, the Buckaroos have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps rankings on their side for this one.
