Volleyball Preview: Las Lomas Knights vs. Rancho Cotate Cougars
Las Lomas has been on the road for five straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Rancho Cotate Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Las Lomas had just enough and edged Bear River out 2-1.
Las Lomas was staring down a 1-0 deficit headed into the second set, but they rallied to take the next three for the win. After all that action, the final score was 23-25, 25-15, 15-10.
Meanwhile, Rancho Cotate didn't have done well against Santa Rosa recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Everything went Rancho Cotate's way against Santa Rosa as Rancho Cotate made off with a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted since August 29th.
