Volleyball Recap: Coastal Christian Has No Trouble Against Coast Union

Coastal Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Coast Union Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Conquerors this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-17.

Carly Starkovich paced Coastal Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Starkovich got some help from Mylee Neuschafer and her 13 assists. Emma Mefford controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Coastal Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Coast Union, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Coastal Christian has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Valley Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Coast Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orcutt Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
