Football Game Preview: Madison-Grant Argylls vs. Eastbrook Panthers

Madison-Grant is 1-9 against Eastbrook since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Argylls will venture away from home to challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Friday, Madison-Grant made easy work of Frankton and carried off a 26-6 victory. The Argylls haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, while Eastbrook put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Elwood. Eastbrook blew past Elwood 42-0. Given Eastbrook's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Elwood is ranked 243rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eastbrook's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Madison-Grant, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Madison-Grant didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Eastbrook when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 20-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Argylls since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
