Softball Recap: St. Pius X Panthers vs. Klein Forest Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The Woodlands Christian Academy, St. Pius X was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the Klein Forest Eagles. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.
Kennedy Flenner 2026 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Julie Tresco 2025 was a standout: she scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Abi Odom 2025, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
