Oak Forest put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 49-8 victory over the Bremen Braves. Given the Bengals' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Braves are ranked 358th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oak Forest's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Bremen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oak Forest is set to take on their familiar foe Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bengals 12.1, the Hawks 15) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bremen will face off against rival Tinley Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
