Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Panthers vs. de Toledo Jaguars
Polytechnic barely beat de Toledo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 9-2 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Alejandro KohnRabassa and Caiden Kennedy made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, KohnRabassa struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, Kennedy tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. In other batting news, Polytechnic let Noah LaPorte and Luke Phillips run wild. LaPorte went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Phillips went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
