 Tesoro had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs), and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Mission Viejo Diablos  6-4. That's more bragging rights for Tesoro, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Loula McNamara spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 13 consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Kiara Cisneros was  excellent,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kennedy Proctor, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Tesoro is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-3-1 record  this season. As for Mission Viejo, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 19-6-1.
 Tesoro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mission Viejo also has no future games currently scheduled.
