Basketball Recap: Evansville Harrison Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Evansville Harrison can now relate to. They were beaten by the Evansville Reitz Panthers 63-23 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Evansville Reitz to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keilah Mitchell, who went 5 for 7 en route to 14 points. What's more, Mitchell also posted a 71% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bailey Hape, who posted 11 points and four steals.

Evansville Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Evansville Reitz, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.
