Basketball Game Preview: Manhattan Village Academy Silver Hawks vs. East Side Community

After both having extra time off, the Manhattan Village Academy Silver Hawks and East Side Community will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Manhattan Village Academy is looking for their season's first victory.

Last Thursday, Manhattan Village Academy was beaten by School of the Future 70-10. While losing is never fun, the Silver Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 620th, while School of the Future are ranked 57th).

Meanwhile, East Side Community unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They lost to Collaborative Education at home by a 44-30 margin.

Manhattan Village Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for East Side Community, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
