Bellflower won against Cerritos on Wednesday with 26 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Buccaneers beat the Culver City Centaurs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 26-6. The result was nothing new for the Buccaneers, who have now won six matches by 20 points or more so far this season.

Kendyll Upshaw was her usual excellent self, throwing for 172 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 50 yards and one touchdown. What's more, she racked up 108.3 passer rating, the most she's had over her last eight games.

Bellflower didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Upshaw, Kayla Williams, and Jazelle Miller picked up one apiece.

The victory was the third in a row for Bellflower, bringing their record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Culver City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Bellflower has already played their next contest, a 33-0 victory against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology on the 13th. As for Culver City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against West Covina on the 13th.
