Basketball Recap: West Delaware Takes a Loss

West Delaware was the 57-54 winner over Solon when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The West Delaware Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 53-52 to the Solon Spartans. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Delaware's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Solon, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-10 record.

West Delaware has already played their next matchup (against Center Point-Urbana), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Solon will welcome Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Solon is facing Independence at the right time seeing as Independence is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
