Woodlawn had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Chicago Vocational Cavaliers on Tuesday. Woodlawn was shut out 2-0 the last time they took on Chicago Vocational, so Woodlawn was just returning the favor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Woodlawn took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12.
