Soccer Recap: Alcoa Comes Up Short

Alcoa came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the West Rebels, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Alcoa were already down 3-0.

Alcoa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

Alcoa will square off against Sequoyah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Alcoa their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for West, they will take on Greeneville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
