Basketball Recap: Moses Lake Takes a Loss

Moses Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 54-38 to the Eastmont Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-33 back in January.

Moses Lake's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Eastmont, their record is now 11-7.

Looking ahead, Moses Lake won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Davis at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Davis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 games -- so hopefully Moses Lake likes a good challenge. As for Eastmont, they and Sunnyside will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
