Basketball Recap: Richmond Hill Comes Up Short

Richmond Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 65-54 to the Hillcrest Hawks. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 72-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Richmond Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hillcrest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond Hill will head out to face off against Lane at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hillcrest, they are taking a road trip to challenge Beach Channel at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hillcrest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
