Volleyball Recap: Marmion Takes a Loss

Marmion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Oswego Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cadets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Marmion's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Oswego, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Marmion has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Metea Valley on the 9th. As for Oswego, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Joliet Central on the 10th.
