The third road match was the charm for Monache, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Linden Lions on Tuesday. The Marauders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Cynthia Burnitzki and Devynn Emerson did most of the damage at the plate: Burnitzki scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2, while Emerson went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Aaliyah Mosqueda was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Monache always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Monache now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Linden, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3.
