There's no place like home for Patton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They took down the East Burke Cavaliers 78-62 on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

East Burke lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luke Demiter, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Brown, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Patton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points over those games. As for East Burke, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
